又一首很出色的曲目

coldplay音乐的奇特力量可以说是全球性的相信如果足够投入的去听很容易会被令人心悸的旋律打动

shiver这首歌后面有很多故事自己的别人的几乎都可以写进小说做素材呵呵

从前乐队贝司最终爱的就是coldplay 他曾给我看他的日记里面写满了他和他女朋友的爱情但我更感兴趣的是夹在中间的许多书签——全都是coldplay的演唱会入场券之前曾提到过他曾做过sum41的贝司对他来说弄张演唱会门票并不难但是要把一支乐队的全美演唱会看全就不大容易了可他居然驱车带着女朋友追着跑遍了美国本土甚至还飞到glasgow 看完了coldplay 一年的演出（疯子！！）可见这支乐队的魅力

听这首歌说不出的感觉有时真的会禁不住微微的颤抖

对uker上众多留英的年轻学子们来说，coldplay应该算的上是一支很有亲和力的乐队，他们不但歌词浅显回味，而且年龄和大家相仿，甚至还作过和大家一样利用课余假期当清洁夫或吧台打工赚钱的工作来维持乐队的音乐生命。利物浦和伦敦的同学们的一些打工场所有可能就是当年他们作同样工作的地方。1996年在UCL（University College London），coldplay成员四人第一次相遇，两年后决定合组乐团。在参加业余乐团比赛过程中，受到英国知名独立摇滚厂牌Fierce Panda的Simon Williams的高度赞誉。首张专辑《Parachutes》一经发行便迅速登上全英各音乐排行榜的首位。虽然“Radiohead接班人”这个噱头对他们蹿红有一定辅助作用，但也给他们带来不少烦恼，因为他们每次接受记者采访时都要像祥林嫂一样解释一遍他们和那个什么head没有任何关系。但越是这样，媒体反而越来劲，他们列举很多“证据”来证明，比如主唱Chris Martin嗓音和Thom Yorke很像，专辑中很多音乐灵感来自《Ok Computer》，Martin在现场表演时也和Yorke一样喜欢斜着面对麦克风……看来英国媒体是够烦人的。 [em01][em01][em01][em01][em01]

就像乐队名字一样，他们音乐中始终贯穿一种令人无法移神的冷冷情绪，敏感、成熟、沉思、忏悔，所有歌曲都是在慢板中演绎，主唱Martin好像把他那心底压抑全部通过突然出现的高声部和假声渲泄出来；吉他手Jon Buckland的演绎似乎也是以沉思姿态弹奏出来，没有花哨技巧和过门，也没有大段间奏。所有这些汇聚到一起，主流媒体就给出了一个评价：另类。

不过，似乎很少人是以所谓的另类眼光来看待Coldplay，他们的首张专辑Parachutes是一张集直率、深刻、动人旋律的大作，以回归到音乐源头的作法，来表现其歌曲中内敛但原始的情绪，证明了并非靠著嘶声呐喊才能在乐坛上一鸣惊人。专辑全球销量直逼500万张、获得NME及Q杂志高度评价、2座2001全英音乐奖及2002葛莱美最佳另类专辑。

整张专辑的亮点就集中在上面给大家推荐的“Shiver”和被中国音乐人郑钧成功翻唱的“Yellow ”这两首歌上，这也是专辑中拿出来发行的单曲。这首“Shiver”和其他歌曲不同，电琴音色的失真比例要比其他歌曲大，听起来格外的优美；自己曾经试调过这种音色但可能是自己的效果器或者吉他太次，或者水平不够，总之是很难达到同样的效果。如果说Coldplay与Radiohead有什么可比的话，也许就是这首歌。
