Chinese New Year Celebration at Boumenouth Square

Dear All,

Happy Year of the Monkey to you all!

The Southampton Phoenix Arts Group is invited to perform at Chinese New Year Celebration at Boumenouth Square, Dorset on Saturday 24th Jan. 2004.  The event is organised and sp##被过滤##ored by Wah Hing Chinese Supermarket and supported by BBC South, Bournemouth City Council etc..
A coach has been booked for the Boumenouth trip on Saturday 24th Jan. which will pick up the performers at University Library on University Road at 11.30am and will return from Boumenouth Square to Southampton at about 4.00pm.  The teenage dance group and the Orchestra will take part in the performance. The performance will start from 1.30pm. Those who are attending the event please prepare your own packed lunch.

At the moment, there are still a few seats left.  If anyone would like to join the trip, please contact me by email.  Please note that there will be a charge of 2 pounds per head.

The rehearsal will be held this Saturday at 3pm at Cantell School.  Please remind your child to bring his/her instrument and music.  If there are any queries or questi##被过滤## please let me know.

Orchestra:
The Erhu, Dizi and Pipa groups.

Violin: Liang Wu, Muyang Zhang, Yang Zhao, Emma Wong

Bamboo flute: Xuebin Yang
Clarinet: Angela Fu, Becky Wong
Oboe: Katie Wong
Recorder: Xiaoxiao Han
Erhu: Dianguo Zhao, Junlong Zhang, Haiying Tong
Triangle: Yuhao Wu
Two tone tube: Yanbo Yang
