学校宽带收费可能是全英学校最贵，竟不能语音聊天

我装了学校的宽带，十分气愤学校不给我们使用语音聊天，而且我们的收费可能是全英国学校里最贵的，例如诺丁汉大学才60镑，UMIST才100镑，我们学校竟然要收150。交了那么多钱，竟然不给我们开通语音聊天的功能，太气愤了。本来，大家开宽带的主要目的就是想和国内亲友在宽带上语音聊天那种爽的感觉。
现在，个人觉得mikesheng的主意不错（见mikesheng的申诉信），只要把信中的语法稍做修改，然后大家都在上面签个联名信后，再交给学校怎么样？我们要争夺我们自己的权力。团结就是力量！有没有人愿意报名！我自己先报一个。

Dear sir or madam,

I am a new student of university of southampton.I,here,stand for tens of students who are not satisfied with the unlimited access to the internet and write this letter to you.

We have applied and paid 150 pounds for the service of UNLIMITED access to the internet. But please just take a look at what we have got, we can do nothing at all except browsing the web pages. There are so many LIMIT that some very common functi##被过滤## could not be realized via the so-called broad band service,like online chatting in a chatting room,chatting with a friends with voice and video which are very important to our student life and our social life.

We have heard and been confirmed that in other universities in the UK,students can use the above functi##被过滤## freely without any restriction. Our friends could hear the voice and see the picture of their friends via internet.We don't know why things are that bad in southampton in a world emphasising on personal communication.

We believe there must something that could be done to solve the problem.And we would be grateful if you could take care of it as soon as possible.

我觉得可能是NTL弄的，因为宽带也是他们提供的，我诺丁汉的同学情况和我们差不多，他们也是ntl的用户。
