我是08 durham ustinov college的新生，我现在不知道自己应该如何决定选修的问题
我的必修是：
1.       Corporate Finance，
Aims to give you advanced knowledge and critical understanding of the essential components of modern corporate finance including ownership structure and governance; capital structure and dividend decisi##被过滤##, and mergers, acquisiti##被过滤## and restructuring. The emphasis is on the applicati##被过滤## of the principles and the relevance of theory to practice.

2.  Financial Statement Analysis，

4.  Quantitative Research Methods or Econometrics I，
Econometrics 1 introduces key econometric principles and methods and looks at how to apply these in empirical investigati##被过滤## into complex specialised issues and interpret the results.

5.  Research Methods，
Whilst a stand alone module, this has been designed to provide the necessary training to undertake advanced level research and provides a solid foundation for undertaking the dissertation. It focuses on the nature of research in finance and the social sciences in general, examining the study skills necessary to manage and undertake a research project.

This module investigates corporate governance mechanisms which serve to promote transparency, resp##被过滤##ibility and accountability in organisati##被过滤##. The objective is to develop your skills in the analysis of systems of corporate governance both at the level of individual organisati##被过滤## and economic systems. Particular attention will be paid to the reas##被过滤## for, and the impact of, differences in systems of corporate governance at international level.

2.  Derivative Markets，
This module examines the main derivative financial instruments, their uses and differences.
C##被过滤##ideration is given to the main key roles of such instruments as arbitrage, speculation and hedging and the complexities and interacti##被过滤## inherent in these roles.

Econometrics plays a central role in financial analysis in academic, governmental and financial instituti##被过滤##. This module emphasises both the understanding of theoretical econometrics and the ability to apply it to real world situati##被过滤##. After developing a thorough understanding of multiple regression analysis, participants progress to more specialised topics such as co integration, volatility models and forecasting.

It also analyses the complexities and contradicti##被过滤## of the current academic literature in the field of financial management of multinational corporati##被过滤##.

9.  Portfolio Management，
Aims to build highly specialist and advanced technical, professional and academic skills in asset allocation and portfolio composition and management.

10.  Security Analysis
The primary objectives of this module are to develop your knowledge and understanding of key issues in security investment analysis at an advanced level, and to provide you with the opportunities to become familiar with recent research in the field of financial investments.
