Profile With one of the most beautiful campuses in Britain and a strong teaching record, Stirling remains a popular choice. The numbers coming through clearing are down by almost a third on the previous year. Only one subject — computer science — failed to gain either an excellent or highly satisfactory rating under the old assessment regime. Under the new system, five subjects were commended for teaching, student progression, and learning and resources in the past year adding history and politics and international relati##被过滤## to the roll of honour. Ten subjects out of 22 were rated 5, indicating international-standard research, including psychology, agriculture, social work, accounting and finance,  cultural and media studies, history, and communication. New degree combinati##被过滤## include economics and film and media, computational ecology (maths plus ecological sciences), and psychology and European languages. Set in 360 acres of breathtaking scenery, campus facilities continue to be updated. The first phase of the National Swimming Academy has been completed with the opening of the £50m Robertson Trust pool, and a new fitness centre opens next year as well as a refurbished arts complex. Most social life is on campus, with few bright lights in Stirling (population 35,000). Glasgow and Edinburgh are a short drive away for those seeking a livelier scene.

以Stirling的教育质量来说本人觉得应该在英国排得更前才对，我现在正在这里读ISM，下星期老师将要举行大罢工了，原因就是他们觉得要上太多课，而工资却没有上涨，呵呵，要申请这里的学弟学妹们，有有心理准备哦！很苦的！
