急問簽證期限！！！！

急問已經拿到一年master簽證的，你們的日期是怎麽寫的？我的寫著：
valid from 11/07/05
valid until 11/01/06
難道說我的簽證只有半年期限嗎？這太奇怪了！我也是去讀master的啊。
天啊，不會是他們搞錯了吧！

今天去打电话去广州签证咨询热线，那小姐说签证期限要看签证官的决定，没法改。我不死心，又打电话到深圳签证中心（因为我是在深圳递的资料），接电话的小姐又帮我问了广州领事馆的人，结果还是说有签半年的可能，但是她告诉我可以写封email给签证官试试。
幸亏她这么一提醒我就发了一封英文email，列明了几条我认为不妥的理由。结果下午就收到了让我欣喜万分的回信：

Your email earlier today refers. You state that you have been granted entry clearance for a period of 6 months only. Our computer system automatically defaults to 6 months duration, and it is up to the issuing officer to change the validity. Unfortunately, this was not checked at the time of issue. Can you please submit your passport (there is no need for another application form) to the Visa Application Centre, and I will arrange to have your visa reprinted with the correct dates which will be from the new date of issue to 28 February 2007.

I apologise for any inconvenience caused to you, and will inform the visa application centre that you will be re-submitting your passport shortly.

回信的是他们的一个经理，英国人。你说要是听了咨询热线的小姐说，那我不是亏大了！！！

我也遇到同样情况了，可是我找到签证中心质问他们，第二天他们就把我的签证改期了，一直到07/02/28！

呵呵，他们这么说都是假的，其实是想让你们去UK之后花几百镑续签。但是只要自己是有理的，例如并不需要读语言的，就一定要争取一年的签证，省了几百镑也就是省了几千块人民币啊！
