英国驻上海及广州总领事馆将于2010年2月5日至10日由于新系统安装而闭馆。此期间, 这两个地方的签证处将不能处理和签发签证申请。然而,即使我们于2010年2月11日开始正常恢复运行，我们仍然会有积压了大约5日的签证申请需要处理。因此, 签证处理的时间会比往常要延长许多。

虽然我们的签证中心届时会依然开放，但我们建议您如需在中国新年期间去英国，须在2010年1月29日前递交申请。
TheBritish C##被过滤##ulates General Visa secti##被过滤## in Shanghai and Guangzhou willbe closed for the installation of a new IT system between 5th and 10thFebruary 2010. The Visa Section in both cities will not be able toprocess any applicati##被过滤## or issue any visas during this period. Oncefull operati##被过滤## resume on 11th February 2010, there will be a 5 daybacklog of applicati##被过滤## to be assessed. Processing times for visas aretherefore likely to be significantly longer than usual.
VisaApplication Centres will remain open, but we advise those wishing totravel to the UK to apply by 29th January 2010, if they wish to obtainVisas in time for Chinese New Year.
