renyu,I have written to accommodation office and they replied that it's not convenient to go to soton before my course's start because I have to move twice.But they recommended me to try soton institute.Anyway,thanks again.

You'd better contact the accommodation office in advance for moving in your hall of residence before the designated date. Otherwise, you can also choose guest house which is of course more expensive than normal student accommodation...
