请教--关于工作签证的资金证明

我的存款都被妻子用她的名字存了定期，这样的存款证明对我的签证申请会不会有影响。还是要转成我的名字（准备和妻子一起签）。
我准备借一些作为我的存款，签证8月份去申请。使馆方面会问资金的来源吗，还是没有必要？

It's a work permit, you will get paid by your employer (glasgow uni) won't you? your personal funding requirement wouldn't be as tough as student visas, when I got my work permit they didn't even ask me for my savings -- a contract that shows your new job's salary is enough
