“希望工程”是专门为中国贫困失学儿童筹集资金的公共福利事业，长期以来得到海内外社会各界的有力支持。至今已有247万失学儿童在其帮助下重返校园。 为了唤起更多人对中国慈善事业的关注，团结更多的力量为公益事业做出贡献，我们特此举办伯明翰“希望工程杯”慈善篮球邀请赛，比赛诚邀全英地区大学优秀代表队参与。此次活动将得到中国驻英大使馆、伯明翰大学、英国珠海联谊会、中国银行以及其他企业的支持和捐助，所征所有捐款和收入一律汇入“希望工程”专项基金。 衷心希望您也加入我们的行列，让爱心的火种辽阔希望的光原！ Project Hope is a public welfare undertaking, initiated and organized by the China Youth Development Foundation, that enlists extensive support from all around the world to assist dropout students and those at risk of dropping out to continue schooling in China’s rural, poverty-stricken areas. Chinese Students & Scholars Association alongside with Chinese Student Society will hold a Charity Basketball Tournament to rise founding for the Project Hope.
