关于council tax问题

我打算在外面租房,是不是全是学生租房就可以不交这个tax?还需要去什么地方开证明或者注册么?那位有经验的达人指点一下,谢谢啦

Go to the student office at your school and ask them to issue a letter as proof of enrolment. It is free.

当Council来查的时候给他们出示证明?不用提前去那里报道注册之类的?
出示什么?学生证?

The tenants are not required to pay council tax if all of them are students.
No worries. Just provide the proof of enrolment at the request of city council, when they send letters to you.
