Programme Structure
Stage One - Core Units
This stage provides a common platform of underpinning knowledge at postgraduate certificate level in the basics of water and environmental management. There are four compulsory modules:

Environmental Systems
Environmental Management
Environmental Policy and Regulation
Stage Two - Elective Units
This stage provides specialist knowledge to postgraduate diploma level in a range of carefully chosen options. You choose four modules from the following:
Water Resources
Potable Water Treatment Processes
Waste Water Treatment Systems
Waste and Contaminated Land Management
Water Pollution Prevention Control
Air Quality
River Engineering
Coastal Engineering and Shoreline Management
Industrial Environmental Management
Operational Management and Customer Service
Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation in Developing Countries
NB: Availability of elective modules is subject to sufficient demand.
Stage Three - MSc Dissertation
The educational programme is completed with the submission of a research-based dissertation.
