[B]Introduction and Welcome Programme for International Students[/B]

This is a two-day programme for international students run by the Student Advice and Information Centre (SAIC). It takes place on Tuesday, 30 September and Wednesday, 1 October. Booking details are shown below – please book as soon as possible if you intend to come but have not yet contacted the SAIC.

All international students will be warmly welcomed at this event which will give information about the University and will help you to settle in as quickly and easily as possible. If you are a non-EU international student, you are strongly encouraged to attend the programme, as during this time you will be given your 'Enrolment and Schools' Induction Arrangements' information pack. This pack will provide information on how to subscribe to ISS Services which you will need to do before enrolling on your programme of study when you attend your School's induction.

[B]Important Note:[/B]

International students should note the following amendment to the 'Welcome to the University' booklet which you will have been sent on acceptance of your offer:

Page 5, the paragraph headed 'Information for all International Students'
and
Page 10, the paragraph headed 'International students from outside of the EU'

These paragraphs give the impression that there are two separate one-day Introduction and Welcome events for international students on 30 September and 1 October. This is not correct – the Introduction and Welcome event run by the Student Advice and Information Centre is a two-day programme starting on Tuesday, 30 September.

An amendment slip was sent with booklets mailed after the end of July, but if you received your copy before this date, we apologise for any confusion this may have caused.
