在我收集到的申请表中，有的推荐信是问答式的，请各位指点，看看我的表达是否清楚无误。并请改正。谢谢

1.How long have you known the applicant?
    I have known the applicant over half a year.         '我认识他大半年了
  

2 Have you taught the applicant yourself and, if so, what subject and for how long?
  NO,I haven't.     ‘我没教过申请人
  Yes,in the subject of "Database",for a term.   ’是的，我教过他数据库一个学期


3.If the applicant has not yet graduated, what class or grade of degree do you expect them to obtain?
   He will obtain the Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.     ’ 他将获得计算机学士学位

4.Would the applicant be eligible to proceed to higher degree study in your University?
   No,if he want to proceed to higher degree study in our University,he should take the entrance examination.      '不，如果他想继续在我们学校取得更高学位的话，他就要进行入学考试。


5。Do you c##被过滤##ider the applicant to have sufficient background knowledge of the subject proposed to proceed directly to independent research with guidance from an academic supervisor or would the applicant be better suited to a taught programme?
   I think he is suited to a taught programme better.   '我认为他更适合教学类。

首先谢谢各位的帮助。我先改进一下，然后再来贴。

还有个问题在University of Bristol的推荐表中

Section A                To be completed by the candidate
Name of Candidate: CHU BA
Faculty of :  ？？？？？
Department of： Computer Science
Diploma or Degree Applied for : MSc
Title of Proposed Research / Advanced Study: Machine Learning and Data Mining
Name of Referee：人鱼不游泳

Position held：女巫           ‘呵呵，举例而已

其中的 “Faculty of：” 该填啥？我看过很多学校的推荐表，都没有这项。请教

当然意思越完整越好。不过，我填表的时候没有人鱼姐姐和samuel这样的前辈指导。

你的回答要根据你的具体情况而定，没有合适不合适之分。

不过，所有的回答除了能够为学校提供基本信息之外，还应该带有一定的倾向性，突出你的优势。

斑竹，我说的合适不合适，是指：
首先，语法和表达方法是否符合英国人的习惯，有没有错误。
其次，我的表达是否太死板了，没有感##被过滤##彩。
最后，推荐表上留了一大片地方，这样的答案是不是太少了

2.我认为你的回答确实需要润色。
3.每个问题，都有发挥的余地，特别是4，5

你还需要花些心思琢磨琢磨。

是不是应该把时间写长一点？至少一年？不然作为写推荐信的老师对你的了解可能给人的感觉不够真切。

   No,if he want to proceed to higher degree study in our University,he should take the entrance examination.      '不，如果他想继续在我们学校取得更高学位的话，他就要进行入学考试。

我觉得你对这个问题的理解有误。eligible是问你的能力，也就是在你现在的学校，你是否有条件有水平继续深造。如果回答不是的话，读信人会有什么想法？应该从证明你的学习能力和继续研究的能力着手写。

对于那么长一段问题，你的回答是否过于简单了？至少你要抓住几个问点来加以阐述，比如你是否具有sufficient background knowledge，是否可以在导师指导下进行independent research等等。

推荐信不要也不能太谦虚，语气应该让读信人感觉你的推荐人对你很有信心，并且对你的能力很赞赏，不然怎么叫推荐呢？不造假，不过夸张一点点是没有问题的。你再捉摸一下吧！
