To whom it may concer:
I am very glad to write the letter of recommendation to support Zuo Ya’s application to your Msc program. As Dean of the Dep. of Mathatics. I have come in contact with thousands students. With her achievement and her personality, Zuo Ya stands out as one of the Dep.’ exception students.
The first time I met Zuo Ya was in 2001. At that time, as the represant of Ss association. She was busy with sending out invitati##被过滤## of the new year’s evening to (leaders and teachers of our university.) I remember that she asked me to write a few words of encouragement for the party, to gave preliminary hearing, and to make plans about the whole evening party. It is a complex task. However, Zuo Ya knew her job clearly and told me everything in details, for example, time, place, attendants, process and duration of the evening party. She could mange everything in a good order, which left me a deep impression. What’s more, as the hostess of the evening party, she did very well. Her wisdom and humor made the party reach the high tide again and again, and her confidence quick mind and excellent expression won her thunderous applause. From then on, I gradually began to know outstanding girl.
Zuo Ya is the study committee member of Information and Computing Science Deporthent and meanwhile. She participates in students union. She has got the first – class scholaship twice for the last two years. (what should be pointed out is there are only three students who continuely got such prize twice in our Deportment.) And also she won the title of “honourable student”. Zuo Ya did so well in her major that she was recommended to enter an election in China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling(CUMCM). Sixty students would be recommended from 18 schools of our university every year, and after three-month strict training students would be finally remained. Zuo Ya was lucky enough to be a member of them. Neverless to say, she could stand out among the Sixty Ss, which somehow proved her excellence. In addition, on behalf of their team, she always gave lectures and accepted all of the questi##被过滤##. Among the twenty more team’s intense argumentation, as a judge I often saw her calm smile with confidence, and I found she is very good at persuading and influencing others with her own thought. I appreciate her potentiality and the ability of analysis very much.
Sep. 2003 , I advised her to run for the recommendation for admission to postgraduate and was a little disappointed to know that she planed to pursue a degree in a UK university,which I believe could provide her more systematic training in her dream major – finance. Therefore, I strongly recommend this student to you ,please do not hesitate to contact me.
