Activities for international students – Spring 2006

To book a place on the slide show talks, walk and lunch, please email me on ph@soton.ac.uk Thank you. I will then confirm the meeting point for the events.

Saturday, 25 February 2006 11 a.m.-12.30 p.m. Free slide show talk: Southampton through the ages. This will be held in the Hartley Library, Highfield Campus.

Saturday, 4 March 2006 11 a.m.-12.30 p.m. Free slide show talk:

Famous People of Southampton. This will be held in the Hartley Library, Highfield Campus.

Saturday, 11 March 2006 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Free guided walk:

A voyage of discovery around Southampton’s old dockland and waterfront areas. Through it runs the poignant thread of the Titanic and those who sailed on her from Southampton. We will meet in Southampton city centre.

Buffet lunch at POSH Gujerati Indian Restaurant, Queensway, Southampton – Sunday, 19 March 2006 12-2 p.m.

Enjoy a three-course Indian lunch for just £5.00 + drinks.

An opportunity to socialise with international students from across the University.

多谢。我也收到上一个季度的，错过了。但是这个季度没有了。

一定要去好好了解一下soton,暑假的时候好吹吹牛。

8错8错我去了那个slide show, 讲解的英语很清楚，总算知道了点soton的过去。

不过那天气氛不是很好，人7个左右，大半中国人。大家都不说话，也不问问题。。。。。

下次是famous people，应该不错
