刚收到教授的信，我非常惭愧，非常后悔，做了着一生人中最愚蠢的事--不够努力。你们觉得他们回直接拒绝我吗？

Thank you for the copy of your IELTS test report, which we now have on file. Alas, I see that you scored 5.0 overall, whereas we require 6.0 for entry. Perhaps you will have time to take it again. Studying in a foreign language full time is very demanding and it is in the interests of both yourself and us that we ensure that you have the high level of English which would allow you to flourish and succeed on our degree programmes.

overall5.0我觉得是低了一点。虽然我觉得就算雅斯考得好，在这边未必开始就很好。但起码你的适应会比较快。还是先练好英语再过来吧。一年时间很快就过了的，不要指望过来这边再练。你想想，一个班70－80％的都是中国人，很难讲英文的。如果钱花了而没有收获，那就不值了。

谢谢你的帖。你是说上语言课程还是正式的上课？我申请的是特冷门的地理，很少中国人。

好啊好啊地理在英国很强的,而且在伦敦有个很牛的地理研究所(我忘了名字了),前年就有一个妹妹毕业后到那里去了,好好学加油!!
