课程简介：
本课程是为期一年的全日制研究生课程，主要教授学生园林设计，园林规划和园林管理方面的学术和实践知识。本课程不提供职业资格认证，但它与第一年的风景园林建筑硕士课程是完全兼容的，学生可以在这两门课程之间任意转换。
This is a one year full time postgraduate course providing a broadacademic and practical understanding of landscape design, landscapeplanning and landscape management. The course does not provideprofessional accreditation, but it is entirely compatible with thefirst year of the MA in Landscape Architecture, and students maytransfer between these courses.

本课程为众多专业背景的学生提供了学习园林建筑方面基础知识和技能的机会。
The MA in Landscape Studies offers opportunities for students from avariety of backgrounds to gain basic knowledge, understanding andskills in landscape Architecture.

本课程不提供园林建筑方面的全面职能训练，不受园林协会的认证。
The program does not provide a full professional training inLandscape Architecture and is not accredited by the LandscapeInstitute. It does, however, allow you to explore aspects of landscapearchitecture and also to tailor your studies, through a dissertation,to pursue landscape topics that are of particular interest andrelevance to you.

学生一旦完成了所有的功课和作业，经院系允许后可以进入第二年的园林建筑学硕士课程，该课程是有职业资格认证的。
It is possible for students who successfully complete the courseworkto join the second year of the professionally accredited MA LandscapeArchitecture, with the approval of the Head of Department.

录取标准：
1、 学士学位，设计专业优先
2、 雅思6.5或托福纸考575（写作不小于4.5）或机考232

Good undergraduate honors degree, ideally in a design discipline.
Our standard English language requirements for overseas students are: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 575 (paper based) with TWE 4.5, or TOEFL 232 (computer based).
