I had another success story on fixing a Linux problem last week.
My friend installed Ubuntu 7.10, but the wireless didn't work and he asked 4 people to help him but still could not fix the problem.
Then I went to help him, and it worked not after long, and both of us were really excited about the fix. This type of wireless related problem is very rare, however with so many manufacturers, you bound to have a few of them don't support Linux manually.
I am happy to help people to install Linux or fix their problems if I can.
You can pick up Linux quite easily these days because it is almost as easy as windows now, even the "hard" stuff you can master after some time.
I started to switch to Linux on 25th of October 2007, not long ago, I am already doing my developments on this platform.
The reason I am so keen no this is because it is truly the 21st century operating system and it is for our next generation. Another strong point is that the China's home grown CPU Loongson supports only Linux, so to express my full support of my own country's CPU, I start to do every computing related things under Linux. |
