please note that the former title of this programme was 'Mobile and Pervasive Computing'.

Programme Overview

This programme equips graduates with knowledge and design skills in wireless and cellular communications, embedded computing, low-power system on a chip design and test. The options include several modules either on mixed digital-RF designs or multimedia and biometrics applications.

The programme is tailored to the demands of large, medium and small companies that design and manufacture mobile electronic equipment interfaced to wireless networks (eg smart mobile phones, netbooks, wireless routers, wireless sensors, RFID tags, smartcards, entertainment, security systems, etc.) and applications.
