今年第一年来南安,学的是economics&finance.为教材的问题很头疼,希望各位学长学姐指教一下~
ECON2001: Applied Microeconomics
Lecturer: Dr. Miltos Makris
There is no set text for this course, because there is no one text that covers all of the topics at the right level of detail. So, your primary source will be the lecture notes (that will be available from blackboard). For some of the topics, however, students may find it useful to refer to the following books which are on reserve in Hartley Library.
• J.. E. Stiglitz, Economics of the Public Sector, 3rd edition, WW Norton, (S)
• S. Connolly and A. Munro, Economics of the Public Sector, Prentice Hall Europe, (CM).
• J. Hindriks and G.D.Myles, Intermediate Public Economics, MIT Press, (HM)
ECON 2002 Macroeconomics Policy 2
老师直接写了text book:N.G.Mankiw Macroeconomics(2010) 7th edition
ECON 2003 Microeconomic Theory 2
LECTURER: Spyros Galanis LECTURER: Jian Tong
BOOKS:
The recommended textbook for this courses are:
• Varian (2009), Intermediate Microeconomics, 7th or 8th edition, Norton
• Nechyba (2009), Microeconomics: An intuitive Approach with Calculus, Cengage.
But you can also use the book you bought last year for Microeconomics I:
• Perloff., J.M. (2009), Microeconomics, Pearson, Addison, Wesley (5th edition)
The course outline below specifies, for each topic covered, the relevant chapter of the two books that
you have to read. If you find that the topic is not well explained in Varian, you can look at Perloff (and
vice versa). Copies of the two books can be found in the library.
