呵呵, 说道马可波罗有没有去过中国,
我以前学过一门讲这个的课...
之前, 也是对他的游记深信不疑,不过上完了课,才发现其中的确有很多漏洞,
好象,他在书中从没有提起过长城, he somehow managed to skip any mention of it.
后来, 很多其他的欧洲游者who went to china all have made reference to the wall...
So it seems very strange that a person who claimed to be the first Latin ever to have gone to china and had stayed there for 17 years and yet not mentioning one of the greatest pieces of architectures of man kind.当然啦, 咱们这里讲的是秦汉长城,不是明长城..

中国人喝茶的传统也没有被记载过,他踏遍中国,上至蒙古, 下至福建, 尤其还去了苏杭... 却连这个也没纪录过...

缠小脚对于一个外国人应该是很奇怪,也很能引起好奇心的风俗了吧, 可是POLO偏偏又忘了把这个给纪录进去...

还有, POLO自称深受元朝皇帝的信赖, 还被封了官, 可是, 为什么我们的史记上却一点都没有提到过他? 不要说马可波罗这个相似的名字, 就连个外国人在朝野里做事的也不曾被记录下来..

最后, 他的游记中的地名不是中文音译过去的, 也不是蒙古文音译过去的,  如果说他在中国待了这么久, 为什么连个地名也要引用波斯文呢??

当然, 他的书不是他自己编成的, 而是一个狱中的好友帮他写的...所以, 不排除那个朋友有添加删改之处....

nevertheless, in my opinion, it doesnt really matter whether or not he went to china and how he or others composed the book. No man before his time has give so much valuabe information and knowledge to the west about the far east as marco polo has...
he played a part as an important bridge between two every distant and different civilisati##被过滤##...
就是光这点, 就很让我们后人敬佩的了~~
