upstairs, i strongly suggest you do not to join cssa here. because before you join cssa, you have to buy a purple card in lusu which will charge you 10 pounds.then you can pay 4 pounds (it should be 4 pounds, i cannot remember it clearly) to join cssa. so you pay for 14 pound on join cssa totally, it is quite expensive for you. actually, you can join all of the activities as a non-member person. some activities are free for all of people, some may charge you and a little higher than the other members, but not too much, it maybe 3 or 4 pounds higher than members only. and i dont think there are too many activities during your studying in lancaster period. hence, it should be cheaper for you as a non-member.

First, need to clarify something...the membership fee is £3, which is charged by the LUSU, and the £10 purple card is a premium NUS card which allows you to join society events ,especially when we need to travel...( societies have to provide the everyone's purple card number each time we orgainise events) Because there is the safty issue involves, so LUSU requires everyone to have a purple card before joining any events. So we strongly recommend you to get such card, in the worst situation, if anyting happens, LUSU will take the resp##被过滤##ibily.

Second, CSSA has loads of activities. If you want to get involved, you can subscribe to our newsletters which will tell u about everything we are up to and extra information from other sources. plz email cssa@lancs.ac.uk. even you are not a member, you can still receive the email.

Third, as a member of CSSA, you can not only get cheaper prices for our events, and also discounts at our sp##被过滤##ors' places.. such as the Rileys. However, we are doing our best to get more sp##被过滤##ors and more benefit. We will issue a benefit card for our members later on which will give you access to more discount including places in Manchester.

Finally, the new year event is the most fabulous and imporant event for everyone. Dont worry, we will soon release the news and information. this is the chance everyone could take part. WE WANT YOUR SUPPORT! not just come to the event, but the preparation work is huge as well.............

我系新大一的学生，对于CSSA的活动还不了解，怎么会知道每年都组织呢？

只是问个问题而已啊，就被那个**凶巴巴**的Adaking笑成白痴~~
