We (of course Chinese) are organizing a nightout in Southampton on this coming Saturday. Everyone is welcome to join. Particularly welcome those freshmen who would like to have a taste of student life, drinking and dancing. Schedules as following:
Dinner session:
NA currently. Could be arranged if enough show interest in
Drinking session:
Gathering point: Stile in Highfield, which is at the end of University Road connecting Burgess Road. Starting from 9:00pm. (Earlier drinking partners possibly available)
Head off to next pub, Crown Inn or Highfield etc on the other side of the campus at about 9:30. Following pub crawl subject to further discussion among attendants. The direction is mainly towards the city center area. So there are plenty to choose from.
Clubbing session:
Club: Academy Address: 17 Lower Banister Street, Southampton, SO15 Open Hours: 9.30pm-2am. Music played: Popular, Dance Capacity: 600 Dress code: smart and casual (will update you if wrong after checking) Price: free entry 4 students b4 10.30. Phone: 023 80 334280
So if you want to benefit from the early entrance, remember to bring your student card and make sure arriving BEFORE 10:30 to allow some time for queuing. Otherwise, we shall get into the club before 11:00pm.
You are welcome to join any sessi##被过滤## or both. Girls particularly, be brave, good time to dress to impress and roll your body.

Hi all, nice to meet you last night, Lin zhang, juanzi, zhuang (sorry or qiang?), Catherine, Aaron and later Soon meng and Selina. Hope you all enjoyed it as well. I believe Aaron's efforts are highly appreciated.
Also further my thanks to my clubbing buddies Soon meng and Selina, queuing and running in the cold night (race car sounds good lol) , though did not rock & roll a lot. But looking forward to next time. It was pretty cool for Selina to make inquiry to the bouncer of the strip club - good fun. Hope see more join in in future.

it's a bit regrettable that i cannot join u, as i promised my friend in advance to escort her home. Two native kids tried to provoke us by yelling sth like " hey, ##被过滤##y chinese", when i were walking her back to Monte. fortunately, nothing worse happened.
Mental Note: never ,never ,never hang out alone or with under 4 compani##被过滤## at night. satefy is always our top priority during overseas study.
Bocai is a superb guy, generous , vigorous, and of course having a great sense of humor.
Do come to join us next time. Dining out , drinking in pubs, as well as clubbing, could help us go straight into the british society and get familiar with local lifestyle. if u have any questi##被过滤## about differences between china and uk, feel free to ask Bocai and his Singapore friends. all u need to do is take courage to go out and see the real southampton, the real uk, in ur own eyes.
