那么除了用聊天气开始一场闲聊之外，还可以用什么开场话题呢？总不能问英国人‘你吃了吗’哈！其实有很多话题都可以作为开场白。比如:说：周一早上最经常听到的问题是‘你的周末过的怎么样’。还有类似于像”What did you get up to on the weekend？” “What did you get up to last night？” “How’s everything going？” 等等的问题，都是挺不错的闲聊开场白。
当然，也不是说不能聊天气。只是如果要说天气的话，不要罗嗦，而且天气也能关联到别的话题。比如:
A: It’s so cold at the moment.
B: I know, I went to a restaurant the other day and was eating outside. My toes felt like they were going to fall off! （在这儿最好问关于别的事情，不要接着说天气)
A: Oh, what restaurant did you go to? What was it like?
