课程描述 The programme benefits from a broad research expertise within the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures and from close collaborations with researchers in Architecture, Art History and Sociology. Supervised research can be provided on a range of topics including those centered on the material manifestations of language (writing, inscriptions, graffiti, marking); language and text in spatial practices (mapping, commemoration, inscription); questions of language politics and identity; language, place and collective memory; urban visual culture; visual rhetoric and visual narrative (photography and photographic essay); semiotics of place and poetics of the image.
