标题: 兰卡BP Unleaded 82.99p!!!关于近来油价猛涨的原因。

其实兰卡的油价一直比其他地方高，但是近来全英国地区普通unleaded汽油价格都达到了80p左右的价格，就连asda之类一直以汽油低价自豪的超市也是如此。很多地区的BP加油站都达到了82.99p/L。在英国，通常油价上涨是因为打仗，比如去年打伊拉克，油价就一度达到80.99p。但这次好像另有原因，下文好像提到一点点：

The c##被过滤##umer price index (CPI) rose to 1.2% last month, official figures showed, up from 1.1% in March.

Worries over inflationary pressures in the economy led the Bank of England to raise interest rates to 4.25% earlier this month.

While the CPI is below its 2% target the Bank has forecast it will breach this level in the next two years.

'Slow grind upwards'

The measure previously targeted by the government, the retail prices index excluding mortgages, fell from 2.1% to 2%.

This was because, unlike the CPI, it includes the council tax, where increases in April were a lot less than last year.

Ross Walker, UK economist at RBS Financial Markets, said the rise in inflation was slightly lower than expected.

"The figures don't contradict what the Bank of England was predicting," he told BBC News Online.

"But they suggest it could be a slightly slower grind upwards than we thought."

But he added there was "still scope for upside shocks to inflation in the months ahead".

Fuel up, but cheaper veg

The Office for National Statistics (##被过滤##) said the recent oil price rises had "a large upward effect on inflation" through higher petrol and domestic heating oil costs.

Other factors pushing inflation higher were the prices of furniture, furnishings and carpets due to fewer special offers from retailers.

Higher prices of package holidays and subscripti##被过滤## to digital TV were also cited as upward pressures.

Downward pressures on inflation came from transport, where rises in air fares were down on last year, and food, where the price of vegetables was lower.
